Virtual Technologies, Ltd. has begun production of two new DC-to-DC converters specifically designed for fuel cell electrical power generation.

SPOKANE, Washington 2002-03-27[SolarAccess.com] Virtual Technologies, Ltd. has begun production of two new DC-to-DC converters specifically designed for fuel cell electrical power generation. The Model 6/14-140 upconverts 6VDC to 14.4VDC with a nominal output of 140 watts, and is designed for charging flooded lead acid batteries. The Model 24/56-600 upconverts 24VDC to 56VDC with a nominal output of 600 watts, and is designed for charging 48VDC battery banks typically used by the telecommunications and railroad industries. Both models are available as circuit boards only, or as complete packages housed in NEMA 3R or NEMA 4X enclosures.
