2002-02-11 [SolarAccess.com] A proposed joint venture between German energy company E. ON, and Austria’s Verbund to create the second biggest hydroelectric power company in Europe has collapsed. The venture, which was to be named European Hydro Power, was announced in July 2001 and would have been headquartered in Salzburg Austria.
