2002-02-07 [SolarAccess.com] The Florida Solar Energy Center has been approved by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation as the only lab in the U.S. accredited for solar thermal and photovoltaic equipment testing to international standards. The accreditation says FSEC meets the requirements for testing and calibration, and complies with guidelines in the ISO/IEC. All solar water and pool heating collectors sold or manufactured in Florida must be certified by FSEC under the Florida Statutes Solar Energy Standards Act.
