Keep an eye on this company. Huge success in supply chain economics has made this technology very competitive. But most important is MW for MW this solar technology uses less land and is the least disruptive to the environment.

Solar, especially with storage, will be reasonably priced and highly efficient long before the new wave of nuclear monsters comes on line. It is very foolish for any utillity to invest now in nuclear, even with federal loan guarantees, with solar so ready for prime time.

solar power is great! so is wind power! but somewhere in the system there has to be a reserve spinning capacity - nuclear is great for this - the wind stops blowing, or is erratic, or the sun goes behind a cloud or its night - something has to take up the slack- refridgerators don't like low voltage (brownouts)

... and your wallet. Soon the CEO may be telling you again that the market isn't ready (as he hinted at the end of the video). Why?

Ask him to tell you his product's MTBF (Mean time between failures).

Great concept. Doubtful implementation.
