One would think with all the asphalt roofs in America that constantly need replacing there is no need to occupy natural land scapes. I'm sure many people would love to lease their roof tops for a more permanent replacement roof and a deal on electricity.
PV thermal anybody?
A well thought out FIT would make the numbers work to a greater benifit for all. Especially if we are talking about a forty year roof. Change the roof line of suburban America anybody

It seems the environmental analysis funded by govt helps corporate profits the most. They want the infrastructure to remain tethered to their provision. .........Problem with incentivizing distributed solar is there is little $ feed back to the animals at the political feed troughs. Old money pays to "good ol boys" and "onside players". .........Can we say "conservatives"?
I say animals because they seem without recognition of their human Holy Spirit of commonality. They seem concerned only with getting for themselves, and as neanderthal as those who believe modifying burn-tec and nuke-tec is the best we can do.
