Very interesting! When you look at worldwide demographics and the state of various economies throughout the world, it's not hard to see why it's so much cheaper to manufacture abroad.

That said, as the cost of fuel goes up, the cost of shipping is also going to go up, which is going to cut into this advantage.

I also wonder how long it's going to be before a labor movement gets started in some of these low cost labor markets that will increase wages in these countries, as has happened in the rest of the world as it has industrialized.
