It is quite interesting to note that the present efficiency levels of solar thin film is 12 % and by 2014 it will be possible to increase by 1 to 2 % additional. It is definitely encouraging. Further it is glad to note that the present cost of the cell now is well below $ 1 and in the range of 70 cents and it is all likely it will touch sub 40 cents in two to three years. It is further encouraging to notice the marketing price 50 cents when the efficiency levels increase further.
