BIO: Tyra Rankin, Legal Counsel

Ms. Rankin has over 25 years of experience as a technology attorney developing licensing and commercialization strategies for semiconductor, digital, electronics and energy industries. Ms. Ranking recently completed a master of laws degree in International Economic Law, her thesis a comparative study of domestic and international solar energy and smart grid policies, including economic analysis of feed-in tariffs. Ms. Rankin is a consultant to renewable energy and clean tech companies enabling commercialization through technology license. She guides policy decisions for deployment of innovative renewable energy technology. Ms. Rankin has a BA in Psychology from SMU, a JD from Texas Tech School of Law and an LLM from University of Houston School of Law.
