I work for a company called The Home Improvement People - which has a subsidiary called The Solar People. We specialise in <a href="http://www.hipaustralia.com.au/solar-power/solar-air-conditioning">solar air conditioning</a> and we are trying to increase the uptake of Solar air conditioning in Australia - we currently running T.V advertising to raise the profile of this technology. <p> We have also been installing solar panels (PV) and solar hot water for a number of years. We use panels from German Solar, which we believe are the best PV panels in the market.<p> Renewable energy is becoming increasingly important in Australia with the Carbon tax coming in mid -2012. This is a tax where all Australian producers of carbon emissions will be charged for the the carbon emissions they produce - by the tonne. This has made getting <a href="http://www.hipaustralia.com.au/solar-power">solar power</a> all the more important and affordable for Australian families.
