Senate Committee Tackles Kerry-Boxer Climate Bill

In recent years, the high oil price has taxed jobs word-wide, therefore job creation via developing sustainable resources is considered to be imperative, which might be a final focus of this great recession.

Plans for Up To 300 Wind Projects in Sweden

America needs to seize the last opportunity of change for an updated energy economy and job generation that is the most intractable and integral part of recovery. America has the most potential for wind power on earth, and Detroit is able to become a hub for plants of wind turbines as Detroit has loads of skilled labors.

The PV Industry 2009: In Search of Stability and Sustainability

I for one think FIT is better suited to renewable energy standard than cap-and-trade especially in America, granted the resistance of special interests is too fierce.

FIT is designed to put subsidies into ratepayer's pocket directly, in this regard, it will be the most cost-effective way by far.

It can also raise home value, stimulate a construction arena and serve as a reliable pension and a safety system against escalating fuel price unquestionably, I guess. And I've never seen a single person to repent installation of solar panels, wind turbines and geothermal power etc on media.

By converting the 'unsustainable' war and military wasting like health care wasting into investing in a smart grid, charging infrastructure, the entire world will live in peace. U.S. spend more on military than the next 25 countries combined.

State Solar Update: FIT Regulatory Boost in California, Bills on the Docket in Arizona

Under Feed-in Tariffs policy, the household outfitted with sustainable energy system may be seen as a sort of sound, reliable pension plan increasing the value of the house considerably, leading to renewed construction boom.
In my mind, it might bring back the much-anticipated economic growth as a cornerstone.

World Class Solar Tariffs on the Way in Ontario

I guess this plan will help increase the value of the house considerably, and get the reeling building industry and overall economy back on its feet as well.

Florida Groups Support New US $114M Renewables Fund

There is an inventor from Wisconsin who invented an all-electric car in the form of a Ford Ranger that was shown at the KARE 11 fair booth at the 2008 Minnesota State Fair.

It is capable of reaching 100 miles per hour in speed, has a range of 300 miles, charges in 10 minutes and is pollution free with only the pollution that is done to make the electricity to charge it.

The inventor of this invention has, to my understanding, approached Ford Motor Company with his invention. The Ford Motor Company, in my estimation, should latch onto this idea, pronto.

My understanding is there are members of Congress who are trying to shoot down this idea of an electric car.

Where is there any common sense in this country?

Renewable Energy: "Yes We Can"

President Barack Obama recently asked Congress "to act without delay" to pass legislation to double alternative energy production in the next three years and build a new electricity "smart grid." This smart grid would be an updated digital version of the electric wires strung across our country in the past century. What makes it "smart" is that the lines would be buried and more efficient and would give homeowners feedback on how efficiently they were using the power inside their homes.

This new smart grid would cost about $400 billion over 10 years but would save between $46 billion and $117 billion over the next 20 years by reducing inefficiencies and power failures, according to the U.S. Department of Energy. It also would help to make us less dependent on imported energy and to reduce climate change. For example, if the smart grid were even 5 percent more efficient, it would keep as many carbon emissions from the atmosphere as eliminating 53 million cars.

A smart grid allows power from residential solar panels, small wind turbines, and plug-in electric vehicles to be fed into the grid. This would encourage the green energy industry by allowing small players, such as individual homes and small businesses, to sell power to their neighbors or back to the grid. It would provide another source of income for larger commercial businesses that have renewable or backup power systems that can provide clean energy for a price during peak demand, such as midday in July when the air conditioning is cranked.

Another brilliant feature of the proposed grid is the potential to use cars to store electricity and then feed it back into the grid during times of peak demand. "Vehicle to grid," or V2G, technology helps balance energy loads by "valley filling" (charging at night, when demand is low) and "peak shaving" (sending power back to the grid when demand is high). This would help utility companies keep voltage and regulation stabler. It would be especially useful when m

Auto Industry Sees Bright Future for Electric Vehicles

After the third wave of IT REVOLUTION followed by the immense infrastructure and investments, the fourth wave of ET REVOLUTION awaits a BOLD ACTION for CHANGE, I think. The new govt is on the basis of THE POLICY OF ENERGY INDEPENDENCY adopted by a Democratic Procedure. Americans have chosen CHANGE, and NOTHING ADVENTURED, NOTHING GAINED ! Energy Independency is the unavoidable task after all, and it can also bring down the fuel costs ultimately as a by-product, which might be enormous enough to cover the upgrade investments. And all the brilliant brains get together in the U.S. for a better life and future. Lastly, without jobs, the economic activity can't be activated, and the working class is broke due to the imported fuel costs, therefore the stimulus project by the govt may be in dire need. THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION !
