"Complete Solar Roof" Offers Power and Heat
A solar roof producing energy to my grid system is the best innovative technology for my business. I have storage warehouses with thousands of sq. ft. of roof. If the price is cost effective in terms of recovery in a few years and compatible to existing building construction then I am very interested. Inform me of the resistance to strong winds and hail this roof can withstand and are there recorded results of sufficient testing. What is the average life expectancy of the roof materials and system components to continue producing energy? Furnish me info. on a supplier contact (Mid US if possible) as I am replacing roofs (storm damage) at this time, so timing is of the essence.

China's Suntech Power Establishes U.S. Presence
I was impressed with some of the earliest statements released about STP and therefore purchased some stock. My greatest concern about solar energy in the continental US is that the coastal states are the only states doing anything about supporting the purchase of alternative energy systems with local incentives encouraging consumers to buy. Without these incentives, the cost is still to prohibitive to recover the capital outllay over a reasonable period. This also dampens the spirits of companies coming to the heart of the country to sell and install these systems. If the cost does not come down or tax incentives offset the capital outlay, it does not have much hope of survival in the Midwest.

U.S. Begins Solar Photovoltaic Module Testing
I am greatly impressed with this testing as I have had interest in pursuing installation of this type of a photovoltaic system on a commercial setting for several months. With nothing but the mfgr's. stated system efficiency and the high ROI, the cost of these systems are prohibitive and the gamble too great. I will be watching for future results from this testing on which to base my decision. Thank you.

Solar PV: Buy Now or Wait for a Better Deal Later?
I understand that it is extremely tough to get a competitive bid that will justify the cost of a solar power system, including tax rebates, vs. the return savings over even the maximum return. The shortage of raw materials required in producing the photo-voltaic systems certainly has not helped in securing a competitive cost bid as well. The shortqge of panels drives the cost up to the point it is almost not cost effective to purchase.
