Professional Experience: I have spent nearly twelve years working in Global Supply Chain Management in utility-scale wind energy manufacturing focusing in Inventory Control, Material and Production Planning, Buying, Master Planning/Scheduling, Bill of Materials Management and Transportation. The common thread woven throughout all areas of my expertise is troubleshooting root causes of key issues managing risk for cost avoidance and savings. I am a seasoned professional who possesses clear thinking in pressured environments. I have repeatedly been recognized for my capacity to quickly master new systems, products, and technologies. I achieved 70% reduction in door-to-door transit time for three over-dimensional industry-pacing components, reduced the value of non-conforming gearbox inventory from $4.5M to $0.5M in nine weeks, designed and executed a stranded inventory cost-avoidance project valued at $1.2M out of $1.7M opportunities, and created and completed many other similar projects. Also, I conceived and executed a global project mandating that Quality inspect and certify each used finished goods shipping fixture, confirming the integrity of the welds and steel, before being reused to transport wind turbine components to sites, in order to eliminate a recurrence of catastrophic failure that resulted in fatalities during construction.
