I'm an electrical engineer, used to be licensed electrician, now a teacher. I am interested in energy harvesting. I think we should start by using solar to power the Internet, which has to be the largest, most wasteful system ever created. I love it, but consider the millions of computers, modems, routers, servers, isp's all on 24/7 it's enormous.
