Poll: Americans Skeptical about Climate Change
yes the earth has natural warming cycles, but try this math problem to prove human influence. 7 billion people x 98.6 degrees of body heat + deforestation+pollution+misuse of water= human influence on global warming.

Stimulus Bill Funds Still Not Reaching Cleantech
if i had the power i would have forced the auto companys, as part of the bailouts,to put unemployed auto workers (with the proper skills)on all those factory roofs. off unemployment moveing renewables forward.there is the funding.

Help! Someone explain to me why solar hot water is such a solar stepchild in the U.S.!
sure 15% decrease in bills isn't much but i will take it any way.as for me personaly i like the idea of solar water because i seems more DIY to me.i have taken enough falls that u won't see me of the roof for much time at all and one of the solar hot water options i read about was mounted on an exterior wall about 10 feet off the ground.besides that way i would have complete control over shadeing issues since a neighbors tree wouldn't make much difference to me.

World Class Solar Tariffs on the Way in Ontario
frank i can't ansure your questions but by way of helping you i ask you this question. have you heard of bi-facial solar panels? they were developed by NASA for use on the space station with power generation comeing from both sides of the p.v. panel. the article i was reading suggested building a carport off the sunnyside of the house. (i am sure that a free standing p.v. system would recieve this same benifit) by haveing the sun reflect off the snow onto the underside of the panel would add 10% energy production during the winter or in case of a carport parking the car where the sun would reflect off the windows on to the underside of the panel also

i hope this idea helps

Stimulus Package Only the Beginning: Renewable Energy Makes Strides in the US Political Arena
first off i have worked in the past with the kind of people who just start buisnesses without the proper knowledge. implying that anyone with a community college degree and a logo on the side of a truck can st6art the buisnesses we need in renewable energy is not so smart.don't get me wrong, i am currently in a community college studying renewables but i am looking to get into a company who will take me under there wing and allow me to learn instead of people thinking that negative about renewables because i botched the job.

second. i don't pretend to understand all the proublems in the economy but what about the strugleing middle of the road banks? don,t they all try to invest for pfofit ?are they getting any federal money ? are they investing in buisnesses that want to create kilo watts instead of mega watts? sure bigger is better but the other cliche is every little bit counts.
