Retired as the Additional General Manger Commercial in 2001. Was involved Solar utilization research from time in the University of Sri Lanka in 1968. Specialist in Load Forecasting and Tariffs. Was Project Director for Installation and commissioning of Lowest operating cost Heavy Fuel Diesels of size 20MW each totaling to 240 MW. Also was in charge of the first 3MW Wind power project in Sri Lanka
