BIO: Jordi Argente, President

The focus of my work is two-fold: 1. Source and manage new investment opportunities in the emerging economies of Asia and Middle East on behalf of private equity investors investing globally. 2. Support enterprises from emerging economies to grow from a “start-up” stage into the “growth” stage, with an entry into the US market. For technology-based companies, I will support their initial presence in the Silicon Valley. My work combines two sets of experiences I have accumulated during my 25+ years international career: 1. Experience as a “serial entrepreneur” and “coach to entrepreneurs” for 10+ years, 2. Experience as a management consultant with leading general management consulting and technology services firms, with whom I have consulted for small and medium companies, and divisions of large multinationals, for 15+ years. I have conducted my work in more than 16 countries world-wide, with an emphasis on both Asia Pacific and North America, where I have resided for long periods of time. I currently commute between the Silicon Valley in California and Hong Kong, and conduct business all over Asia.
