China Holdings to Build Biomass Plant
biomass? china is known for its few forests and this is a big problem. the biomass industry can obtain material everywhere, from green household waste, rainforest wood to vegetable oils. china is known for its strong development-ties to africa and indonesia, with local rulers, who are not exactly ''the best you can get''. this is an ongoing strategy. ''control'' is a severe shortcoming. just like shell and other companies act for many decades now. biomass is only sustainable within very clear boundaries; material from local green waste or sustainable operated forests, which EXCLUDE rainforests and its products from africa, indonesia, maleisia, south america and canada. lets invest in real sustainable techniques like solar energy and the like. what we really need are different revolutionary ways of saving electricity and the possibility to get electro-power into new kind of batteries and/or hydrogen, really cheap.

Researchers Create Biodiesel from Chicken Fat--Updated
a complete insane idea to create fuel from chicken and a terrible waste of energy. to be deleted as a serious attempt in sustainable development. its one of those ideas that could have been blown into the world by Mr. Bush jr.; he once had the ''great'' idea to generate hydrogen with the burning of coal and oil. say no more.

Cashew Apple a Potential Source For Bio-Fuel
another disaster idea! why do we like to produce our bio-fuels in third world countries so much! lets find our own ways of producing oils for bio-fuels, without the danger of destroying local markets and economic balances in the ''third'' world. i wonder which investor is behind this project. certainly not the local farmers will get the credits. thats for sure.

Carbon-neutral Hydrogen on the Horizon
i think blending hydrogene with natural gaz for a period of time could be a good alternative. the tech in cars is already there. as a rule of thumb i think, in this time with several new technigues on the horizon its important to blend old and new for some time. embrace the hybrid thought for about 10 years and then take adventage of new revolutionairy tech. what about the ''geet-reactor'' for instance. a slightly different way of looking at the combustion tech, using (theoretically) 80 % water and 20 % organic stuff, mixed as a fuel. exhaust is near clean. works perfectly in my car, but riding on dutch roads with this system makes me a criminal, according to the law in holland... our government loves to earn money on petrol, that is. and water is still cheap.

Carbon-neutral Hydrogen on the Horizon
extra to the above text; with ''organic stuff'' i mean; anything like grude oil, benzine or even sunflower oil.
