Jeffrey Anthony

BIO: Jeffrey Anthony, Director of Business Development

Jeff Anthony joined the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) in March 2007 as AWEA’s Manager of Utility Programs, with responsibility for supporting utilities in their efforts to integrate and adopt wind power as a mainstream generation technology. He continues to work with individual utilities across the U.S. as they expand their use of wind power, to aid them in their understanding of wind’s benefits, and to help them address integration and other implementation issues. In June 2009, Jeff was promoted to Director of Business Development for AWEA and has responsibility for attracting new business members to AWEA as well as responsibility for the wind energy supply chain initiative that AWEA is leading to increase the manufacturing of wind turbines and turbine components in this country. He is also responsible for technical support areas in AWEA and continues to lead the utility support efforts as well. Prior to joining AWEA, Jeff worked at Wisconsin Electric for 19 years, most recently as the Manager of Renewable Energy Strategy. Mr. Anthony graduated from Purdue University with a B.S. in Nuclear Engineering and received an Executive MBA from Northwestern University.
