Ilias started writing for Renewable Energy World in February, 2014. He is also a correspondent for a few other publications, mainly reporting on renewable energy news, electricity market developments and the world's ever changing energy policies. His geographic area of expertise though include the UK and the southern and eastern Europe.
When not reporting on energy news, Ilias is also trying to finish his PhD degree on the subject of innovation systems for wind energy technology at the University of Strathclyde, Scotland, UK. Furthermore, he holds two Master degrees, both from Strathclyde University, the first in European Public Policy and the second in Energy Systems and the Environment; and a bachelor degree in electrical engineering from Greece.
Ilias speaks English, French and Greek, and currently lives in Glasgow, UK.
