I am part of a dedicated team working on a novel fuels synthesis process. We are developing a process that will competitively recycle CO2 into liquid fuels using off-peak excess energy. The liquid fuels that are synthesized in this manner - gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, etc... - are collectively known as "WindFuels". This will help the wind industry by stabilizing the grid, it will give a market-based incentive for point-source emissions to separate and fully clean their exhaust, it will offset the further development of tar-sands fuels - resulting in a net carbon-negative lifecycle emission, it will enable the U.S. to produce all of its fuel needs and eventually export fuel. WindFuels are projected to be competitive with oil at $50/bbl. Find our more at www.WindFuels.com
