Power is misleading without stating "availability factor" .

Fossil fuel get about $10Billion/year in subsidies. That doesn't include the subsidies that go to nuclear.

New Biogas Network Under Development
It's not clear at all why they're creating a new pipeline. Perhaps were isn't an existing NG pipeline. Electricity is easier to transport than gaseous fuel.

Article doesn't say, but if all they're doing is burning E85, then this is a waste.
The best use of Ethanol is as a metered knock suppressor.

Solar Sparkle for Arizona
I don't know if it's commercial yet, but I've seen a hybrid system that is a PV panel attached to a heat exchanger that circulates water. Seems ideal for industrial applications.
