"and be completed in 16 to 18 months" seem rather long just to pour cement & raise a roof. I wonder if the limit is the product rate for the 200 units?

Lame article. You start with a valid point. Gasification of biomass is more efficient than fermentation. Then you destroy all credibility with a muddled rant about ethanol.
It's not clear at all why they're creating a new pipeline. Perhaps were isn't an existing NG pipeline. Electricity is easier to transport than gaseous fuel.
I don't know if it's commercial yet, but I've seen a hybrid system that is a PV panel attached to a heat exchanger that circulates water. Seems ideal for industrial applications.
