Infinia Closes $50 Million Financing
This is great news for a product that will provide more power with less costs. This will make solar highly competative with other energy producers.

Energy Bill Update: Will Renewables Be a Part of the Political Landscape?
The government should be encoraging the public to convert to other energy sources. The public wants to have the NEW renewable energy as well as their fossil oil. Since oil is so valuable, shouldn't we be saving it as much as we can. Instead of all the profits, with the tax substidies, and the war tax just going to the oil companies. Shouldn't we be creating jobs to save us from global warming. Instead of sending solders into harms way, shouldn't we be working together to
break us of our oil addiction. We HAVE the technology We HAVE the need to change, WE NEED investments into reneweable energy to create jobs.... here, If YOU invest in renewable energy... then you should receive a tax credit. The goverment should be creating incentives to help the public afford the change. The reduction in oil consumption will stabilize it's price, oil is to precious to waste as a fuel. Solar, wind, geothermal, electric cars with lithium batteries are the new weapons we should be building.

How Economical is the Energy of Hydrogen?
The infrastruture is basically in place. Honda and GM are promoting individual on site production vs central distribution. The use of solar and wind for electrolysis instead of natural gas reformation of these systems will reduce CO2 even more. Hydrogen can be piped along with natural gas in existing pipe lines. Electrical cars are a good answer too, except how are you making the electricity to charge the batteries....., coal, nuclear, fossil fuels? Hydrogen from methane from landfills kills to birds with one stone. The carbon can be sequester to make carbon composites.

With Global warming we need many solutions. Let the free market work..... even the playing fields with government energy subsidies.

How Economical is the Energy of Hydrogen?
A car with a tank filled with hydrogen is safer than a car filled with gasoline. Hydrogen is lighter than air...it will burn completely, in a short period of time up into the air vs gasoline which burns at a slower rate and the gasoline liquid will spread igniting other flamable products.
They add scents to natural gas so that you can smell it. You could do they same for hydrogen.
