Brewing a New Biofuels Market for the Northeast
Having just moved from the southern Adirondacks of upstate New York to Minnesota, I have become aware of the significant advances the mid-west has made in ethanol production and utilization. With this project, New York can make significant gains in expanding the utilization of what will become the "home-grown" fuel of the US. It will be nice to know that when I return to New York for visits in the future, I will be able to obtain ethanol fuel for use in my vehicle. We should all strive to support, and utimately use, alternative fuels that have so many benefits not just for the environment, but for the local and US economy. Other states should share such forward thinking in supporting projects such as this.
