Green Lining Found in Beetle Infestation
Great news for my area! I live right in the heart of the beetle-kill area. Our principle industry here is forest products and the beetle-kill will have a severe effect on our economy. This is a wonderful opportunity to make lemonaide out of lemons! I see electrical power as a renewable commodity that we should be producing and we should be selling the excess to the highest bidders.

Green Light for New Concentrating Solar Power Project
I think it is a great idea! Nevada uses an obscene amount of hydro-electricity in their casinos; its about time the state shouldered part of the load in producing electricity! The whole state is ugly high desert, of little use to anyone except for gathering solar power.

Grocery Store Sets California Solar Standard
It makes good sense for the business! Power outages are devasting for grocery stores; at least they will have power enough to run cash registers and emergency lighting. Better still, they can remain open for business during power outages and collect the business others must turn away. They will probably have all the business in town until the power comes back on.
Hopefully, they have enough capacity to keep their refrigerators and freezers going too. It would seem that a wind turbine would be a good co-generator to provide additional capacity.
