BP: Too Big to Fail?
Does California use Brazil sugar ethanol at a price of $0.16 per gal ($8billion per year) more than GMO corn fuel ethanol?
Does the United States ship GMO corn fuel ethanol to Brazil for car fuel?
Can California ask for a waiver of ethanol mandate and save money, carbon-footprint and food price?
Stop using food in my gas, ethanol stinks and it might affect the beef.

A random 'Smog Check' inspection & repair 'secret shopper' audit, ethanol cap and elimination of dual fuel CAFE credit can cut California car impact over 50% in 2010. (Prevent Over 2000 tons per day of sulfur, PM, HC, O3, NOx, CO & CO2.) Improved performance of AB32 at reduced cost. (support H.R. 1207)

RE: Sierra Research Report SR 2007-04-01
Dear Mr. Governor
California Air Resources Board (CARB) and The Department of Consumer Affairs/ Bureau of Automotive Repair DCA/BAR have contracted with Sierra Research for a Report of Smog Check performance.
Sierra has informed me the report was final in March 2009 and released to CARB.
CARB, BAR, IMRC, and the California Legislature are using the Report for public policy but refusing to release the publicly funded Report.
Mr. Governor, I'm confused, can you refer me to someone who might help?

Ethanol Pipeline Coming to a City Near You?
* California Smog Check providers have been questioned about a Sierra Research 'Forty Nine Percent Refail Report' Reporting a possible 50% fraud rate, Smog Check providers fail millions of cars but Tom Cackette officer of CARB and Larry Sherwood & Dave Amlin B.A.R. may use the information to justify public policy but refuse to release the tax dollar funded report.

POET Further Commits to Cellulosic Ethanol
Water use to grow corn for Caliofornia ethanol is about 2000 gal to produce 1 gal of ethanol.
That adds up to a lot of water.
The gal of water use per mile traveled might be interesting

A Public Relations Strategy for Ethanol Fuel
"Unlike MTBE, little is known about the impacts of ethanol releases into groundwater or the environment. However, because ethanol is the primary ingredient of beverage alcohol, which is classified by the California Proposition 65 Committee and other cancer experts as a human carcinogen, many are concerned about the possibility that ethanol may pose a cancer risk. Additionally, independent researchers have determined that ethanol in groundwater can extend plumes of other more potent gasoline carcinogens (benzene, toluene, etc.) up to 25%. In addition, ethanol is less effective than MTBE at fighting air pollution, and due to transportation and supply problems, will likely increase gasoline prices."

Subject: IMRC meeting
Hi Charlie,
You missed the first part of the last IMRC meeting when we announced
we will no longer transcribe IMRC meetings since it is an extravagant
expense that the state cannot afford. As you know, we are under no
statutory requirement to do so. All that is required are meeting
minutes. Therefore, when possible, we will record the meeting but
when a recording is not possible, we will simply post the minutes of
the meeting. Let me know of you have any questions.
Regards,
Rocky Carlisle

Kyoto's Great Carbon Offset Swindle
Most carbon credit moneys go to the China Government as a 50% tax on carbon credits.
A shared Public/private partnership is an interesting business market
Multinational corporate government partners are able to controll world markets with the help of carbon taxes.

Growing Biofuels: The Sustainability Opportunity
Duel fuel CAFE credits, car fuel millage reductions, Fuel evaporation rate standards, $0.51 fed welfare to oilies, increasing fertilizer and chemical needs for corn ethanol may increase oil use and profit.
With a $0.50 cost to clean fuel ethanol to food grade the $17 booze tax by ATF may move some fuel to a new market
