UPC Wind Secures Hawaiian Land Preservation
Variety is the main indication of a healthy competition in a field of endeavor. In wind energy there is only the single wind turbine design which seems to be everywhere. Can the design be altered by competition or revised to make a more efficient and productive machine?

Clipper Windpower and BP Form Wind Energy Alliance
Those wind turbines look extremely inadequate for the purpose for which they were constructed. Maybe a redesign and open competition for construction is needed. As long as there is a monopoly on wind energy controled by GE there will be a failure to adequately harness the wind energy properly and adequately.

Spain's Wind Power Industry on a Roll
A dynamic industry should have more competition in designs. The wind turbines illustrated in the photo show a lack of variety that is a serious flaw for a developing industsry. Someone should develop a wind turbine which produces more electricity of a higher amperage by increasing the resistance of the active part of the turbine.
