Agave Project aims to produce biofuels from agave sugars and biomass. Agave contains up to 3X the sugars in sugarcane and produces 10X the biomass than GMO poplar tree or 4X more cellulose than the fastest growing eucalyptus. We use enhanced varieties (not GMO) developed by Prof. Remigio Madrigal after 29 years of work, that are very uniform in sugar content (up to 42° Brix), weight/size and time to harves, allowing for massive industrial production.
