Can Offshore Wind Make or Break Wave Energy?

Participating with nature by capturing energy can interfere with natural cycles if intentions are not displaed and resulting impacts are underestimated. Its always hard to say I was wrong and a fail safe conclusion/compromise is probably a better/safer position to play with. Wind harnassing has some negligible impacts, and wave/tidal harnassing threatens the ocean's estuaries and fish breeding around the world. Looking at the Northern Banks and the estuary of the Fundy Bay. Whats next flood the Chesapeake Bay.?

Low Natural Gas Prices Haven't Detracted from Wind's Hedge Appeal, Says LBNL

As long as demand is increased gas prices will not compete. Alot of shale is already fracked for gas although it is terminal in its ability to supply the energy from a magnetic field interrupted by aturbine powered by wind. Its Hope that blows.

Massachusetts Maps its Solar Energy Future

I guess the retails form an intimate part of some peoples considerations regarding the growth of markets that expand without there input. The not for profit but just because needs to be the focus and the revenues will be recovered over time universallly. Affordable for all is a good focus, but the decentralizating energy model, of energy production, growth modelling threatens to detract, from headway made inappropriately on our behalf. Hot water, geothermal, PV technologies need to cogenerate collective growths to the market.

Latin America Report: Mexico Just Scratching the Surface of Solar Demand

The use of LARGE Wind projects expand the grid . see above 'Mexico's Robust Wind Energy Prospects Ruffle Nearby Villages: ' and as they do the grid, an AC electric model, is phased into/ onto recipients needing the technology of the decentralization of DC applications, such as solar electric or small scale wind, biogas (look at UN Model for 2013. Grid is great to transport but decentralized power as DC doesn't require a grid or/of/for converting.

What are the Barriers to Distributed Renewable Energy?

Exsisting technologies reflect the origins of conservation. Capitalism having built upon infrastructure that requires desemination of energy for focused financial (Profit)returns, has resulted in the greatest barrrier. Profit sharing from centralized power, is unacceptable to the business model. The decentralized power model spreads the wealth to the consumer, killing the $ source of capital gains.

2013 Geothermal: Last-Minute PTC Revision Sparks a New Hope

With the Spanish Spire receiving focused light so efficently I am missing an USA equivalent. I also feel on a residential scale the evacuated tubes collect heat while they don;t shed the snow and then fail to be efficent, are they potentially an unutilized resource moment.

Top 10 Biofuels Predictions for 2013

Green house gas emissions are often perceived as the only factor for consideration. With Global Warming as an issue the alcohol contribution to RFS2 heating could be compared to other less regulated fuel sources.

Leafy Green Power: Spinach is Key Ingredient in Solar Breakthrough

Will this research result in a booming Se4all U.N. initiative from the requests of scientist's and humanitarians alike. Or will it become consumed by Capitalism? Decentralizing knowledge is critical and easier than redirecting the capital in a industrialist's pocket. Thank you for the "Heads up" approach to the coin toss.

Solar: A Solution to Worldwide Electricity Needs

se4ALL is poised to balance a energy deficit for urban energy consumption by installing non grid application of solar energy. With Trade barriers and incentives at their local point of use and point of export there should be a collective "Shipping" "Policy information provider" that can anticipate and direct resources through the quagmire of hurdles to this energy distribution model. Are there U.S.A. incentives,or export restrictions ,tariffs and etc... that a U.S.A. participant can anticipate.? As I work within this industry, as an educator, I am also interested in overseas/rural(remote) applications . These are critical as they will be the modeling for additional growth at these points of use locations, and provide non-nuclear energy production modeling.
Here in the U.S.A. do you anticipate a growth in energy production materials ie solar panels, batteries etc...? Allying these resources into the global economy can accelerate this transition. Where do you seeing the industry in the U.S.A. needing the greatest influx of labor? ServeMI.com is trying to employ vets into this model. Do you feel they have unique skills that may be applicable.?
