Murphy has delivered numerous international off-grid industrial PV projects since 1988, and was among the first solar industry experts in the Spanish PV market boom and bust cycle since the early 2000s. Prior to joining Solarbuzz, Murphy served as a Technical Commercial Consultant at DemaSolar Levante, helping clients to make commercial offers in Spain for PV, CPV, and CSP project development and execution. He has held various engineering leadership positions in the solar industry and has been at the forefront of regional commercialization of regulations and public administration PV schemes in Europe. Murphy earned a B.S. in Environmental Resources Engineering from California State University, with a concentration in renewable energy systems engineering. He is also certified as a green-building LEED Accredited Professional.
