Changing Tides in Offshore Wind

You make a good point but don't forget, over here we are also having problems with funding for loan guarantees being cut as well as lots of NIMBY-ism when it comes to transmission that is needed to move the energy from one side of the country to the other. Not to mention that environmental groups are suing left and right (i.e. Cape Wind) because they feel the turbines are a detriment to wildlife.

It will be interesting to see how all of this plays out over the next 5 or 10 years and if the U.S. can catch up to and/or surpass the UK even with these speed bumps slowing things down.
