Mark Goldes

BIO: Mark Goldes, Co-founder

Previously began Magnetic Power Inc. and co-founded its subsidiary Room Temperature Superconductors Inc. - as well as an earlier company, SunWind Ltd. Energy exploration grew out of the non-profit Aesop Institute and began as a full-time effort in 1973. Earlier, CEO of The Aesop Company, a financial and economic consulting firm. Before that served as Chief of Housing and Economic Development in Oakland, Calif. Once a student of Electrical Engineering, earned BA and MA degrees at San Francisco State University, and later served two years on active duty with the USAF, culminating as a Senior Director of the Berlin Corridor control radar in Germany. Afterwards, from 1956 thru 1958, awarded a Fellowship in the Graduate Program in the History of Ideas, at Brandeis University, where I earned a second Master’s degree. In 1960, founded Emerson College of the Monterey Peninsula, and later initiated the free university movement, which spread to at least 600 locations worldwide.
