John previously worked for 26 years at Eaton Corporation, where he held engineering, product, marketing & sales management positions for the electrical components of circuit breakers, contactors, operator interfaces, programmable controllers and drive automation systems and for the hydraulic components of cylinders, pumps, motors, accumulators and motion control systems. Working across several Divisions of Eaton, John spearheaded the business development of new opportunities in the wind, solar, wave and hydro renewable energy markets, ultimately designing a global electrical and hydraulic condition monitoring system for all of the dams of a major hydropower OEM. After winning that project, John pursued systems engineering opportunities at American Electric Technologies, Inc. (AETI), which has a 60 year pedigree in supplying complete turnkey power generation infrastructure solutions to the harsh climates of off-shore oil & gas and commercial marine, as well as supplying complete turnkey power infrastructure solutions to the mission critical process control markets of data centers, oil refineries and water/wastewater treatment. AETI provides not only equipment solutions but their services as well, and in the southern USA AETI also offers full construction services as well. John leads all of AETI’s renewable energy engineering, product, marketing & sales efforts across their broad array of industry solutions, and currently has implemented several partnerships with other firms to provide a complete suite of end to end generation to grid solutions that includes power generation, conversion, storage, control, distribution and management equipment; pre-, during and post construction services & support of the equipment; and the design, build and construction of complete wind and solar farms delivered as one turnkey project. John is speaking at the conference today about the wind and solar farm electrical systems best practices to provide the attendee with some knowledge about how to ensure a favorable return on investment in the rapidly growing renewable energy markets.
