BIO: Sergio Trindade, PhD.

Sergio C. Trindade , Director, Science & Technology at International Fuel Technologies, is a globally recognized expert in fuels and sustainable energy. Dr. Trindade served as Assistant Secretary General of the United Nations for Science and Technology for five years and is a consultant on energy and environmental and technology issues to the U.N., World Bank and many private and public organizations. Dr. Trindade is a co-laureate of the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize as part of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change - IPCC. He received his Ph.D in Chemical Engineering from MIT.
