Don't Miss The Great Solar Debate: Where Does the Global Solar Industry Stand? ×

T*SOL basic

Would you like to plan a solar thermal system simply and reliably? If so, we recommend T*SOL® basic. T*SOL® basic offers accurate calculation and extremely convenient planning. The simulation program is especially designs for residential systems, supporting technicians and solar system installers with their project planning. The programs' structure gives you maximum flexibility in all respects. T*SOL ® basic offers 20 types of systems for hot water supply and space heating, plus 9 types of outdoor systems for the simulation of solar swimming pool heating. Get your solar thermal energy project moving with T*SOL® basic!

Navigation

Thanks to an intuitive interface, a solar thermal system can be designed particularly easily and quickly with T*SOL® basic. Clear and comprehensible dialogs guide you through the separate menu items. You can work through the program simply and in only a few steps. It couldn’t be easier!

Systems Selection in T*SOL basic

T*SOL® basic offers you 20 pre-configured systems covering the majority of commercial systems in theresidential sector. System selection can be made from the icons or a list. Narrowing the selection to the individual manufacturers is also possible. Another convenient feature is the favorites list where you can save your most frequently used systems.

Design Asistant

T*SOL® basic guarantees maximum planning certainty. The program calculates the collector area and the storage tank volume for a solar thermal system and immediately identifies design errors. Six different types of collector are included in T*SOL® basic. The required collectors are determined on the basis of the hot water requirement and the number of people in the household.

Photo Dimensioning with Photo Plan

The integrated photo dimensioning program Photo Plan is a visualization tool to quickly and easily create your customer’s roof. With a photo and a reference dimension, the roof and the planned solar thermal system can be presented photorealistically. The program can also determine all essential roof dimensions. You only need a few minutes to create your customer’s roof with its very own solar thermal system, according to your customer’s wishes. Photo Plan is therefore a great tool to help home owners make the right decision!

Climate Data

T*SOL® basic includes extensive climate data for at least 450 locations in Germany and a further 8,000 worldwide. The climate data includes information on irradiation, air temperature and wind speed in hourly resolution for the period of a year.

After entering the inclination and orientation of the selected components, T*SOL® basic creates a detailed yield forecast on the basis of T*SOL® Pro’s algorithms.

Results

T*SOL® basic provides your customers with a summary of results and a clear, exportable project report. The report presents all the results for the yield forecast and collector, as well as a system overview. It can be printed out and/or sent as a PDF file by e-mail.
