Announcing the release of Version 5.0 of T*SOL Pro
San Diego, November 2010 T*SOL is the leading program for the design and simulation of solar thermal systems from Valentin Software, which has been providing solar professionals with industry leading design simulation and sales software tools for over 20 years. With T*SOL Pro 5.0 users will be able to select a US localized version of the software with solar thermal systems and domestic hot water tanks that are widely used in the USA, as well as SRCC certified collectors. The localized version will have US measurement units as standard. Also included is the ability to design systems with solar thermal air collectors. Version 5.0 will have a brand new program screen design and new graphics. For the first time the software will include air collector systems and there will be a number of new tank systems with integrated auxiliary heating.

T*SOL’s component database contains detailed data on tanks, heat exchangers, boilers and over 2,000 flat-plate, evacuated and air collectors, as well as 375 SRCC certified collectors. The climate database contains over 1,000 US locations and thousand’s of additional international locations. The new internet update tool automatically checks whether additional collector data and new releases are available for download free of charge. Users can select between five languages in the program: English, Spanish, French, German and Italian and the user manual will now be available in all five languages.
