Upsolar, a leading international provider of solar PV modules, today announced a major supply agreement in Greece, delivering 1.2 MW of photovoltaic modules to RSEnergy Hellas Solartechnik Ltd. (RSEnergy), one of Greece's premier energy engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) firms.

In just over two years, Upsolar Greece has made rapid progress locally, shipping a total of 33 MW of PV modules since its first sale in March of 2010.  With “Made in EU” panels certified by the Industrial Certificate for Mechanics (ICIM), Upsolar customers are eligible for additional incentives for solar projects in many EU countries.

“In our short amount of time as a European office, we have been able to increase our shipments to the Greek market by offering customers high quality modules made of locally sourced materials, which makes solar installations more affordable and sustainable,” said Enrico Carniato, Europe Sales Director for Upsolar. “Because our “Made in EU” panels qualify for a 10 percent premium from the updated feed-in tariff, leading EPCs like RSEnergy have chosen our products because of their quality and cost-effective materials.”
