December 9th Green Salon Focuses on Climate Change Legislation

Leading Expert, Sheila Hollis, Will Discuss The Politics of Climate Change

The next Green Salon on December 9th in New York City promises to be a very special evening. We will have a leading expert on climate change legislation, Sheila Hollis, Partner, Duane Morris LLP speak to Salon attendees. But an extra special treat is the musical portion of the program with two world class opera singers and a noted musician entertaining the assembled.

The Green Salon continues its enlightening and fun program of music and education on environmental issues. Our next event features Sheila Hollis speaking on climate change legislation. Sheila Hollis is a eading Washington attorney and chair of Washington DC the office of Duane Morris LLP.  Ms. Hollis has 34 years legal experience, has received multiple awards, including recently being named on e of the 50 Key Women in Energy worldwide .  She is known as one of the best in the energy law field.  she has chaired the Amerian Bar Association Section of Environment, Energy and Resources of over 14,000 attorneys.  She is an expert in climate change legislation.

The musical portion of the evening promises to be extra special. Mr. Thomas Muraco is on the faculty of the Manhattan School of Music where he coaches, teaches and conducts operas. Richard Dyer of the Boston Globe said that he "is simply one of the finest collaborative artists before the public today.  His contributions were model of complete support and specific understanding--they were songs without words." He has collaborated with major artists and performed with major orchestras.  He created the evening's program with Mary Dunleavy, distinguished Metropolitan Opera soprano and Philip Cutlip distinguished operatic baritone, both with major international careers. The music and singing is world class.
