Standard Solar Brings Solar Energy to The Brick Companies

The system, which will be used to power the Queenstown Harbor golf course clubhouse and cart barn, will produce approximately 70 percent of the facility’s electrical usage. The system is expected to generate 231 megawatt hours of electricity annually, the equivalent of 159 metric tons of carbon dioxide a year or the Greenhouse gas emissions avoided by recycling 55 tons of waste instead of sending it to the landfill.

The installation of the system is scheduled to begin later this year and be completed in early 2012.
