Spire's CEO to Present at the Greentech Media's 2009 Solar Industry Summit in Scottsdale, Arizona

BEDFORD, MA — April 10, 2009 — Spire Corporation (Nasdaq: SPIR), a global solar company providing turnkey solar factories and capital equipment to manufacture photovoltaic (PV) modules and cells worldwide, today announced its Chairman and CEO, Roger G. Little, as well as its Executive Vice President and General Manager of Spire Solar, Stephen J. Hogan, will attend Surviving the Shakeout: Greentech Media's 2009 Solar Industry Summit from April 14-15, 2009 in Scottsdale, Arizona.
