Tecno Spot to offer SolarEdge PV power harvesting systems in Italy

Hod Hasharon, Israel and Brunico, Italy – August 30^th 2011 - SolarEdge Technologies, a provider of Distributed Solar Power Harvesting and PV monitoring solutions, is expanding its activity in Italy by announcing a partnership with Tecno Spot S.r.l, a leading Italian distributor with European presence, focused on quality of products and specialized technical support, pre-sales and post-sales.

The SolarEdge power harvesting solutions that will be offered include module-integrated power optimizers, solar inverters and a monitoring portal. This innovative end-to-end solution boosts energy production from a PV installation by up to 25%.

The diversified Italian PV market is the second largest in Europe, with a fast growth rate in the last few years. Tecno Spot, equipped with the SolarEdge solutions, will be able to offer installers and system owners the benefits of an easy and flexible design, optimal site space utilization, real-time module-level performance monitoring, a reduced cost of maintenance and improved safety, which all lead to a faster return on investment.
