EnPower Systems, Inc. Acquires Sierra Solar Systems & Plan It Solar

Plan it Solar has built a strong presence in the Nevada County market specializing in grid- tied solar electric systems sales and installations for both residential and commercial markets.

EnPower, who purchased Sierra Solar Systems, Inc in November of 2010, is positioning itself for accelerated growth in the burgeoning solar industry and to become a market leading force nationally, regionally and locally.

Sierra Solar Systems, known across the country and beyond for their Solar Flare catalog, will continue to operate with a focus on off-grid system sales as well as catalog and Internet sales of solar systems components and supplies. Former Sierra Solar owner Jonathan Hill, will continue to work with EnPower making his 30+ years experience in the solar systems design available to staff and customers alike.

Plan it Solar, continuing operations from its Penn Valley, CA location, will focus on the Northern CA residential and commercial solar market. The Plan It Solar purchase became final February 15^th of this year, and the process of integrating the company’s operations started immediately. Plan It Solar founder Martin Webb will stay on with EnPower as Senior Vice President.
