May 2006 - Somerville, MA Second Wind Inc. has recently announced the availability in North America of the 60-meter HiMast(TM), an ice-rated 60-meter high meteorological tower for wind resource assessment. The tilt-up tower, made by NexGen in the United Kingdom, has structural and component improvements that make it safer and more resistant to extreme weather than previous designs.

"We are pleased to be able to offer the HiMast 60 to our customers," said Kenneth Cohn, founding partner of Second Wind Inc. and wind resource assessment product manager. "I worked closely with NexGen and their consulting engineers to ensure that this design is of the highest quality and that Second Wind is putting its name on the best 60-meter tilt-up tower available in the marketplace today."
