USIC-RussTech Partnership Agreement Extended for Three Years

RussTech specializes in the translation of technical documentation, scientific reports, legal documents and business financials - particularly concerning developments in energy, state-of-the-art equipment, and biotechnology. A comprehensive language services company founded in 1994, RussTech has completed assignments in more than 60 languages.

USIC, which is based in Arlington, Va., is an international nonprofit corporate membership association of high tech businesses and research institutions actively engaged in technology commercialization. USIC has facilitated more than 250 commercial partnerships between American industry and leading Eurasian scientists and engineers, generating jobs and revenue at home and abroad. USIC helps member companies showcase their capabilities before numerous government agencies and in the international business community. The organization is poised to help technology-based companies find cost-effective international resources of expertise to develop new technologies and move them into the marketplace.

RussTech has been a USIC member and sponsor for several years. Both organizations work closely with the United States Department of Energy and its national laboratories, and this new partnership represents a natural outgrowth of their business activities.

Dr. Marilyn Young, RussTech president and CEO, expressed great optimism about this new agreement. “For nearly two decades USIC has undertaken an important mission to promote peaceful collaboration through innovative business development initiatives, and RussTech is proud to support that mission by facilitating culturally appropriate communication across national boundaries.”

This agreement also calls for joint marketing efforts at conferences and technical meetings worldwide.
