Energy companies will move up to Pan Am building's penthouse
Bursting at the seams, RevoluSun recently moved from their offices in downtown Honolulu to the penthouse of the Pan Am building at 1600 Kapiolani Blvd. In addition to space issues, the residential and commercial solar installation companies' move was prompted by the sale of their downtown office.
The new 5,300-square-foot space, will provide them 50 percent more room. In addition to hosting their offices, the solar company will use the location as a showroom and to host seminars. Renovation of the Pan Am space, which will hold 45 employees, is slated for March of 2011. The companies will be contracting with Kailua-based Mokulua Woodworking, which will use sustainable and recycled material.
