Capacity building paves the way for renewable energy and energy efficiency

2011/11/28 - Berlin, Germany RENAC is continuing to run its successful "TREE - Transfer Renewable Energy and Efficiency" international training program with the support of the German Foreign Office, with the focus moving to new countries. From November 2011 the specific needs for building up educational offerings in renewable energy and energy efficiency for 10 new target countries will be worked out, in cooperation with the ministries and public institutions concerned. On this basis, specific courses for the transfer of know how will be developed. The TREE project has been funded for almost 3 years by the German Environment Ministry and has enabled the transfer of knowledge about sustainable energy supplies to political and economic decision-makers from over 50 countries.
