PV Powered Hires New Eastern Regional Sales Manager

“Chris has spent his entire career contributing to the growth of the solar industry,” said Erick Petersen, VP of Sales and Marketing at PV Powered. “His remarkable experience across all facets of the business including design, manufacturing, installation, support, and distribution will be fully utilized as we rapidly expand our sales and service operations on the east coast.”

Most recently, Chris served as an Engineering/Project Manager for Solar Design Associates of Harvard, MA, where he performed design, engineering, installation, and project management of PV projects of significant size and scope. Prior to that, he held technical and sales management positions with two major PV system distributors where he provided technical assistance to installers and helped them grow their businesses. He began his career at Kyocera Solar, Inc. constructing and testing multicrystalline photovoltaic modules and integrating PV systems including a mobile power center for the Smithsonian Institution and power systems for the Navajo Tribal Utility Authority.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Science and Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering, with a concentration in Power Systems, from Arizona State University. He is also certified by the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) as a Solar PV Installer.
