FORT COLLINS, Colo., September 14, 2011 Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq: AEIS), today announced its SEGIS Technology Demonstration, which will be held Tuesday, September 20, in Portland, Oregon. During the event, which is free to attend, Advanced Energy (AE) and its Solar Energy Grid Integration System (SEGIS) partners will showcase the technologies developed during its Stage 3 SEGIS contract, which AE was awarded in September 2010. The SEGIS program is funded by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Solar Energy Technologies Program (SETP), and aims to develop technologies that make solar power cost-competitive with traditional power generation sources.
