Since our foundation in the early 1990's we have provided independent consultancy, products and management services with real in-house expertise of the entire wind farm development and operations cycle spanning from site prospecting and resource assessment, through design and consent and on to construction and operational asset management. We started with onshore wind and have since progressed to be leaders in offshore wind and wave & tidal, all of which. Biomass was new for Natural Power in 2010 but grows from strength to strength with a hand picked team of experts working across the project life-cycle mirroring our approach to onshore and offshore wind.

Our quality of work and sympathetic development process is demonstrated by our unrivalled consenting record on more than 2000MW of Cclient projects both onshore and offshore. We have managed the construction of over 500MW of wind farm projects, provided asset management services for over 580MW (representing close to 20% of the UK's installed wind capacity), and our due diligence and resource assessment services are recognised by developers, major banks and financial institutions worldwide, having been applied to over 25GW of projects globally.

We have always played an active role in pioneering emerging technologies, such as wind farm design and optimisation software, lidar and computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and operational analysis software, for the benefit of the industry, resulting in the release of our own products innovations.
