June 6, 2011 - NEWARK, DE, USA and TAINAN, Taiwan Motech Americas LLC, Delaware based solar panel subsidiary of Motech Industries, Inc. (TWO: 6244) ("MOTECH"), announced today that it becomes a member of the California Solar Energy Industries Association ("CALSEIA"). CALSEIA is a locally and internationally recognized organization which has been involved in the development of the solar industry in the California market. They have involved in enacting legislation that encourages safety, durability and a competitive solar market in the California. Becoming a member of CALSEIA is also an excellent way to network with other solar companies and build the partnerships needed to grow in this industry.
“The California market remains the largest solar market in the U.S. With solar installations in the state expected to grow into the future, it is necessary for us to gain a complete understanding of the requirements in the industry and to become involved in the legislation that is affecting this market,” says MOTECH’s North American Sales Director, Richard Bennett. “We believe that joining the organization could help MOTECH to be in a better position to gain market share in US market.”
