FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Oct. 10, 2011
Professional Training Classes to be hosted by The Solar and Wind Expo Massachusetts
The Solar and Wind Expo Massachusetts will host a series of accredited and non-accredited classes for those interested in entering the solar power job market in addition to providing consumers with timely information about investing now in renewable energy,
Two all-day classes recognized for Continuing Education by various State Boards and the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) will be presented during the Friday and Saturday of the show by Dr. Sean White for Krannich Solar: Solar PV Technical Sales and Solar Electrical Design.
“We are delighted to bring the needed training required for new and exciting jobs to the Central Massachusetts area,” said George Lopez, Executive Director of The Solar and Wind Expo. “The purpose of our show is to grow demand for these technologies with the thought that many clean jobs will be created in the process.”
In addition to the classes, the Expo will feature exhibits and seminars on topics related to solar, wind, geothermal, and biomass energy as well as related technologies. Exhibitors and seminar speakers will be available to meet with consumers and show them how to save money while being good to the environment. The exhibitors include manufacturers, installers, and lenders.
The Solar Renewable Energy Credits market in Massachusetts is very stable and today there are many federal, state and local incentives to encourage consumers to invest in renewable energy. Renewable energy incentives and the technologies change quickly so anyone who is interested in investing soon should plan on attending the Expo to get the most recent information from those who know it best.
